I’m so excited to announce my poem “This World is Yours” has been nominated for Publication of the Month for January and February 2024 at Spillwords Press. To be nominated along with so many other amazing writers is both an incredible honor and deeply humbling. I’m grateful to Dagmara K. and her staff for publishing my poem and for this wonderful opportunity.

Aw, man… I don’t even know what to say, Nigel. That’s so kind of you. I’ve been secretly hoping you’ll finish on top, to be honest. The cool thing I’ve noticed is that we’re both nominated for our very first Spillwords submissions. When is saw your brilliant poem there, I literally pumped my fist in the air, I was so stoked for you! And then when I saw the list of nominees and found your name, I was grinning this big, dopey grin. It felt so good to see your poetry recognized, especially since you’ve talked about how you prefer writing prose. It goes to show you that your talent is varied and boundless, man. I’m happy to be among such good company. All the best to you, my fellow wordsmith. 😊

Though life got a bit busy, For more than a year I’m away from my writing and therefore my own self:) but still I sometimes manage to read your poetry. Keep on doing your good work dear friend.
