Adam Fenner reviews my poem “From Tsukiko, While Watching the Moon”

Hey, folks. I was delightfully surprised when my recent poem “From Tsukiko, While Watching the Moon” was reviewed by Adam Fenner. Adam is a gifted novelist and poet, and his poetry reviews are both keenly insightful and enlightening. I was honored to discover Adam had written an in-depth, spot-on analysis of my poem and I thought I’d share a link to his review on his wonderful blog for those of you who would like to check it out. Take some time and explore his work while you’re there. He’s a formidably talented writer.

    1. Thanks a bunch, Diana. I was super-pleased to see Adam had reviewed my poem (I’ve secretly been hoping he might review something of mine for quite a while now). His analysis was right on target, too. He’s an incredibly insightful fellow. 😊

      1. It’s so awesome when someone can see through to the heart of what we write. Adam did one for me a while back and it was fun to read because he nailed my intentions. Things are good here. It’s finally starting to warm up. Hope things are good for you too! ☺️

  1. Congratulations Mike and thank you for the gorgeous review Adam Fenner. Your poem is so stunning Mike and the review was very helpful for me. Much of the terminology I was not familiar with but what depth it added to your piece to be able to read his review.

Just such an amazing piece Mike, your writing just blows me away and it is a treasure to read each of your pieces.

    Big hugs and love,

    Joni

    1. Thanks, Lauren. Adam’s review was incredibly accurate and I was honored he chose one of my poems to analyze. I like to challenge my readers sometimes, so a lot of my poetry may require multiple read-throughs and an open google search page. 🤓 It makes the reading experience more participatory, I think. Or, maybe I’m just weird. One or the other, I can’t decide which. 🤣

      1. You’re not weird, Mike! Your poetry is amazing! I can’t think of the right adjective, but you know what I mean, and how others feel too. I love the challenge too. Hope you have a good weekend, and I also replied to your email that made my day. 🤗
