Hi, friend. So good to see you visit here today. I’ve been wondering how you’re getting along, hoping things are good (at least, as good as can be) in your neck o’ the woods. I’m exhausted from the constant onslaught and feel buried beneath tons of stress. Every day a new horror. This can’t go on forever–malevolence of this magnitude is unsustainable and the entire construct will collapse at some point. We must keep fighting the best we can and not let this darkness consume us or the ones we love. It’s already consumed most of my family (lost to the maga cult forever) and there’s a dearth of compassion in my part of the world right now, but I know there are kind people left who still care for truth and justice and all good things.
Wishing you rejuvenating peace and unexpected moments of joy, Diana. Goodness shall prevail. 😊

The monster is in big trouble and the world has caught on. The insanity will continue, but it’s also easy to see it all falling apart too. Just a matter of time. I think we can hold onto that hope. Maybe for something better than what we had before.

Powerful poem with a minimum of words, Mike! The fragility of hope and the spider’s web. Thanks to Manuela for sharing! Blessings to you both!

Hi, Peggy. Thanks so much for your nice words regarding this little poem. It’s so unlike me to write with such brevity, but that’s what happened that morning years ago when this one came to me.
My apologies for being pretty much invisible here on WP recently. Going through some stuff and that means cocooning away from the world to figure out some things. I appreciate your constant support, my friend, and I hope to resurface again soon with some new writing (a bit of a fool’s errand on my part to hope my muse will return, but there you have it).
I hope you and yours are enjoying springtime and the warm weather. It’s a pleasant 73° F here and sunny.
Thanks again for your kindness, Peggy. It really means a lot to me. If you’ve got an extra prayer or two to spare, perhaps you could send one my way. Enjoy your upcoming weekend. 😊

You and your muse are in my prayers, Mike, you have a gift to share. The Lord bless you always!
We have cool weather in the mornings, 60’s and 70’s in the afternoon. Everything is green and growing. God’s creation sings.
Blessings, my friend!😊🌈
