Stream among the reeds
Peeks at me through cattails
Laughs and runs away

Earth begs for a crumb

Thanks so much. Memories of my days on the farm, watching these little calves frolic and stumble about in the bright, freezing mornings. Calves are adorable and curious and awkward and entertaining to watch. I appreciate your nice comment, as always. 🙂
